How to Install Television Ceiling Mounts

1. First: Decide on the position and room of the television mount

   Take a ladder and stud finder, and find the exact point you want to place the mount. Look for a ceiling beam, and mark it with a pen or pencil. You are now ready to begin installation.

2. Second: Begin screwing the television into the mount

   Once the position of the mount is decided and you place it in the ceiling, unscrew the middle screw of the mount. Take the television, and mount one end of the television into the mount. Do this one screw at a time to make sure the television does not fall or slip. Then, screw in the rest of the ends. After screwing in the television ends to the mount, screw in the lag bolts with a wrench for extra security.

3. Third: Position the television

   After the ceiling mount is installed, it is time to determine the desired position. Move the mount around to see whether you want it placed straight or out on a curve.
